Overview

Catfe is Vancouver’s first-ever cat café, offering a heartwarming mix of coffee culture and cat adoption. Located at International Village Mall, this cozy café serves locally roasted drinks and snacks, while allowing visitors to relax with free-roaming rescue cats, most of which are available for adoption. Since opening in 2015, over 1,900 cats have found their forever homes through Catfe.

About Catfe

Catfe is not just a café—it’s a community-based rescue lounge that partners with Heart & Soul Dog & Cat Rescue and other local organizations to provide a safe, happy, and interactive space for adoptable cats. Guests are welcome to visit, relax, enjoy food and drinks, and spend time with cats before applying to adopt.

The Adoption Process

1. Meet the Cats in Person
   All adoptions require an in-person visit to interact with the cats and find your match.

2. Submit an Onsite Application
   Applications are provided in-person only, and the Catfe team will help guide you.

3. Adoption Fees

   • Range: $350–$720 depending on cat(s)

   • All cats are: Spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea-treated, and vet-checked.

   • Spot & Tiger Lily – Bonded playful siblings
